28 Years of Building PQE Group

28 years of PQE Group. And so much to be grateful for.

When I think about these 28 years, I find myself reflecting on how much has changed, both within the company and in my own understanding of what it means to be an entrepreneur.

In 1998, I founded PQE Group in Italy with a clear vision of the kind of company I wanted to create. Today, we have an international presence, colleagues from many different cultures and backgrounds, and the opportunity to support life sciences organizations around the world.

Looking at how far we have come gives me an enormous sense of satisfaction.

Of course, 28 years in business also means experiencing periods of change, facing difficult decisions, and learning to adapt when circumstances take unexpected turns.

I have always believed that entrepreneurship requires the willingness to keep learning. Even after nearly three decades, there are still situations that challenge my thinking and experiences that teach me something new.

But perhaps the most rewarding part of these years has been the people.

I have had the opportunity to meet extraordinary individuals, work alongside talented professionals, and watch many of them develop into accomplished leaders.

Our colleagues have contributed their knowledge, ideas, and personalities to the company. They have helped us establish relationships in new markets, broaden our expertise, and create opportunities that would have been difficult to imagine years ago.

And I am particularly happy to see how many people have built meaningful careers with us.

As I look toward the future, I feel fortunate to continue working in an industry that contributes so much to people’s lives. There are new technologies to understand, different approaches to consider, and many interesting questions about how our industry will develop.

At this stage of my life, I also think about success differently. I appreciate the importance of building a successful business, but I find just as much satisfaction in knowing that the company continues to create opportunities for others and contributes something useful through its work.

To everyone who has been part of PQE Group over these 28 years, thank you.

Every colleague, client, and partner has contributed something to our history, and I am grateful for the trust, friendships, and experiences we have shared.

Happy 28th anniversary, PQE Group!

Where Will the Next Generation of Senior Pharma Consultants Come From?

I find myself returning to this question often. I do not yet have a complete answer. Much of what shaped my professional judgment early in my career came from work that was repetitive, detailed, and largely invisible from the outside. Routine validation activities....
